In 2021, Otdelnov was a finalist for the Kandinsky Prize. In 2017, he won the Sergey Kuryokhin Prize for Contemporary Art (special prize of the French Institute).
In 2020, he won the State Innovation Prize in the Artist of the Year category. In 2020, Otdelnov was named Artist of the Year by the Cosmoscow Foundation.
Otdelnov's works are in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Uppsala Art Museum, the Kalmar Art Museum, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Pushkin Museum, as well as in public and private collections around the world.
