ART

This section features works and projects by artists who went into exile after February 24, 2022. These are artworks created at the intersection of personal experience and collective trauma — in a new reality where art becomes a way to navigate, to witness, and to resist.

Our aim is not only to bring these works together but also to trace where they were created — in which geographic and cultural contexts. That’s why the section is organized by continents: Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, and other regions where the voices of those who were forced to leave Russia now resound.

In doing so, we are literally mapping the diaspora, highlighting not only its dispersal but also the enduring connections among those who continue to create — at a distance, but not in isolation.

Each work in this section is an act of memory and presence, a testimony of the times, and a way to sustain cultural continuity where it could have been broken.
