ART
This section presents works and projects
by artists who went into exile following February 24, 2022. These creations emerge at
the intersection of personal experience and collective trauma, in contexts where art assumes a crucial role as a tool for orientation, testimony, and resistance.
The aim of this initiative extends beyond the mere collection of artworks: it also seeks
to trace the locations of their production, investigating the geographical and cultural contexts in which they were created. For this reason, the presentation is organized
by continent – Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, and other regions – highlighting the areas in which the voices of those forced
to leave Russia continue to resonate today.
In this way, the project contributes to
the concrete mapping of the diaspora, revealing not only its dispersion but also the vital connections among artists who continue
to create, at a distance but not in isolation.
Each work included in this section represents an act of memory and presence: a testimony of our time and a deliberate effort to preserve cultural continuity where it was at risk of being disrupted.
